Each box contains:
• One sachet with 180 mg omeprazole powder
• One bottle with 90 mL solvent to prepare the oral suspension
(equivalent to 20 mg omeprazole per 10 mL)

• Management and treatment of reflux (heartburn and regurgitation of gastric contents)

• Reducing gastrointestinal side effects of other medications, including NSAIDs
Indications in Children Over 4 Years and Adolescents
• Treatment of duodenal ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori, in combination with antibiotics
Indications in Children Over 1 Month of Age
• Treatment of reflux and refluxinduced esophagitis (regurgitation of gastric contents and acid into the esophagus)
Warnings and Precautions
Do not use this medication in infants under 1 month of age, lowbirthweight newborns, or premature infants unless prescribed by a specialist physician.
Longterm use of this medication may increase the risk of bone fractures in the hip, lower back, and spine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of osteoporosis or if you are taking corticosteroids.
Use of omeprazole for more than three months may lead to low magnesium levels in the body. If symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, muscle cramps, delirium, seizures, dizziness, or irregular heartbeat occur, consult your physician.
Longterm use of this medication may reduce the absorption of vitamin B12. During prolonged treatment, this should be considered by the treating physician.
As this product contains benzyl alcohol*, consult your doctor if you have a history of kidney problems or symptoms such as yellowing of the skin, dark urine, or severe fatigue, which may indicate liver problems.
Inform your physician immediately if any of the following occur:
unexplained significant weight loss, stomach pain or indigestion, vomiting, dark or bloody stools, persistent or severe diarrhea, skin rash, wheezing, swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, or body, or difficulty swallowing (severe allergic reaction
Drug Interactions
Interaction with Other Medications
This product may interact with the following drugs:
Clopidogrel, Nelfinavir, Atazanavir, antifungal agents (such as itraconazole, ketoconazole, etc.), benzodiazepines (such as diazepam, etc.), digoxin, phenytoin, salicylates, warfarin, rifampin, erlotinib, methotrexate, and tacrolimus.
If you are taking antibiotics such as amoxicillin, clarithromycin, or metronidazole together with omeprazole for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori, inform your physician about any other medications you are using.

How to use Kidizol
(Omeprazole oral suspesion)
Dosage and Administration
Adults

For gastric or duodenal ulcers, reflux (regurgitation of stomach contents and acid into the esophagus), or prevention of ulcers caused by nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen or diclofenac: 10 to 40 mg of omeprazole once daily for 4 to 8 weeks, as prescribed by the physician based on the patient’s condition.
For the treatment of Helicobacter pylori: 20 mg of omeprazole twice daily, in combination with clarithromycin, metronidazole, or amoxicillin.

Preparation Instructions
Step 1
Add the solvent to the bottle containing the omeprazole powder.
Step 2
Close the bottle cap and shake the bottle vigorously for one minute until the powder is completely dispersed in the solvent and a suspension is formed.
The suspension should appear pink/peach in color. If any discoloration occurs, do not use the product.
Step 3
To administer the medication, remove the white cap from the bottle and attach the syringe adapter (with cap) provided in the package to the bottle. Then remove the adapter cap and connect the oral syringe included in the box.
Step 4
Turn the bottle upside down and pull the syringe plunger outward to draw the suspension into the syringe.
Step 5
Close the cap of the syringe adapter and store the bottle in the refrigerator.
Step 6
After administering the suspension, wash the syringe thoroughly with warm water and allow it to dry.
