Color of the Suspension
If all preparation steps are performed correctly, the final ready-to-use suspension should appear pink to peach-colored. If the suspension appears dark or any color other than the one described, do not use the product.

If you or your child are allergic to omeprazole or any of the other ingredients in this product, inform your doctor before use.
What should be done if more than the recommended dose of Kidizol is given?
If you are concerned that you may have given your child too much omeprazole, contact your doctor or local emergency services immediately.
If you call for advice, keep the medicine package with you during the call.
What should be done if a dose of Kidizol is missed?
If the medicine is given once daily:
Give the missed dose as soon as you remember, provided that at least 12 hours remain before the next scheduled dose.
If less than 12 hours remain, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dosing schedule.
If the medicine is given twice daily:
If you remember within 4 hours of the usual dosing time, give the missed dose.
For example, if the usual time is 7 a.m., the medicine can be given until 11 a.m.
If more than 4 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and wait for the next scheduled dose.
Important note:
Do not give a double dose to make up for a missed one.
What should be done if the child vomits after taking Kidizol?
- If the child vomits within 30 minutes after taking omeprazole, give the same dose again.
- If the child vomits more than 30 minutes after taking the medicine, do not give another dose and wait until the next scheduled dose.
If the prepared suspension is accidentally left out of the refrigerator, can it still be used?
Based on stability studies performed on the prepared suspension, the product remains stable for up to 24 hours at room temperature (25°C).
